Hara Culture

Moving from the centre we are in harmony with how it is.  Everything comes together, moves together.  We don’t save centredness for classes, for sessions, for high days and holidays. Moving from our proper point of gravity is our natural way.  With it, everything is in its place.  Without it life is a struggle; our movements uneconomical, our approach to life without integrity.  Wishing to live in resonance, we discipline our minds and bodies to re-member ourselves.

Living in Resonance is not just about the art of touch or words but about harmony in all aspects of life, reflected in the way we eat, sit, walk and dress as well as our approach to life issues, culture and environment.  When the centre of gravity is in place, an ethical life is not only desirable but natural.  Along with this is a particular aesthetic that LiR promotes.
