Sei-ki in Hamburg with Alice Whieldon, translation/assistance by Alexandra Gelny

May 24 - May 26

450€

Ki-do-ma – the right time, the right measure, the right space. These are essential elements in both Shiatsu and Sei-Ki.

Without these elements, our work is reduced to ideas and techniques; with ki-do-ma, our practice has the chance to enter a different sphere. For the experienced practitioner, it is important to work on their own inner clarity and to develop a fine perception. Then it is possible to know, see and feel with the body-mind where to touch. You can feel directly in your bones when the touch is right, and you don’t need to think about how long the touch lasts because you can feel it very precisely.

A Sei-ki workshop is not only important for those who want to pursue this path and this art of Sei-ki, but also for Shiatsu practitioners who want to deepen their Shiatsu work.

The founder of Sei-ki, Kishi Akinobu, learnt Shiatsu during the Golden Age of Shiatsu in Japan and was Masunaga’s top student and assistant. Sei-ki emerged from this time and place and carries the echo of this work within it.

For Shiatsu practitioners, in Sei-ki it is possible to ‘capture’ an echo of the original Shiatsu and use it to enhance their understanding of the roots and possibilities of that art.

If you already have Sei-ki experience, you are warmly invited to join us and share your experience of Ki-do-ma in the beautiful setting and space offered by the School of Shiatsu Hamburg.
