Sei-Ki was developed out of the Shiatsu tradition, moving beyond meridians, exploring and deepening the art of touch, whilst enabling life to come back into us and us to come back to life.

This residential workshop opens us to the idea of moving away from attitudes of fixing others, diagnosing or imposing our will onto others. It will teach us to contact and communicate with another in a way that we can feel seen, heard and met, as we truly are.

It will provide an opportunity to come back to the fundamental basics of Sei-Ki and hara, without which our sessions are ineffective. It will encourage us back to the beauty and simplicity of basics, deepening our touch and connection, whilst sharpening our ability to offer true presence, with a clarity that brings us Back to Life.

Suitable for people of all abilities, from complete novices through to experienced practitioners. It is a practice that benefits our development both personally and professionally, regardless of what area of work we are in. It will appeal to anyone wanting to experience true connection with ourselves and one another.

You will:

• Have plenty of opportunities to exchange Sei-ki, with guidance and tutorials available.
• Observe demonstrations, ask questions and engage in group discussions.
• Engage in structured exercises for hara development, explore your practice and your personal development for a way of living life.
• This workshop meets the acceptance criteria for the Sei-Ki training.

Alice learnt Sei-Ki from the founder, Kishi Akinobu and teaches from this lineage. She has presented workshops for over 20 years and her style of teaching is exquisite, embodying her teachings fully, which is evident in her workshops.  Alice collaborated with Kishi and wrote, Sei-Ki, Life in Resonance, The Secret Art of Shiatsu (2011). She also trains and practices Mind Clearing (the art of communication) and wrote Mind Clearing – The Key to Mindfulness Mastery (2016) 

Both of these art forms Alice brings to her workshops, with a clarity and presence that is rarely found in the therapeutic world. Alice spends a lot of time teaching internationally, so this is a rare opportunity to attend a UK workshop with her.

Investment: 

£745 full residential single room/£545 day-resident – day resident rate is for local people only.  However, the residential experience is still recommended to get the full benefit of the workshop.
