Sei-Ki in Norwich, UK

A rare chance to join a UK Sei-Ki Workshop with Alice Whieldon. A small workshop in the medieval centre of Norwich. We will explore the Way of Touch through demonstration, practice and receiving. You will explore the art and skill of Sei-Ki touch, the philosophy of a Way and leave after 3 days relaxed and refreshed.

This workshop is open to experienced as well as new students of Sei-Ki. We will focus on learning through experience including demonstrations, practice and receiving. There will be structured feedback, discussion and instruction.

The Venue: Norwich Wellbeing Centre: https://norwichwellbeing.com/ , a friendly venue in the heart of this medieval city.

Food: There are numerous places nearby where you can eat, to suit any budget, including the marketplace on Friday and Saturday.

Staying in Norwich: It is best to book early if you want to find an Airbnb, but there are also a variety of hotels to choose from, many within easy walking distance of the venue.

Travel: Norwich has a small airport with some flights to Europe, particularly Amsterdam. Buses bring you from the airport to the City Centre.

There are also some direct trains from Norwich to Stansted Airport, which is the nearest major airport to Norwich, about 2-2.5 hours away.

The train station is about a 20 minute walk from the venue and direct trains to London take a little under 2 hours from Liverpool Street Station. You can also get trains from London Kings Cross Station via Cambridge/Ely taking about the same time.

There are coaches from London and London airports.

Driving from London takes 2-2.5 hours up the M11/A11

If you are coming from the North or West of the UK, transport can be a bit more tricky, but there are direct (slow) trains from Liverpool and Manchester and you can change at Peterborough for a direct train to Norwich from the East Coast Line.

To secure your place you need to pay a deposit of £150 which is non-refundable unless the workshop is full and someone else can be found to take your place, in which case your deposit will be refunded, minus a £50 admin fee.

The remainder of the fee will be due by August 25.
